CHIP IN FOR THE KIDS
CELEBRATES 28 YEARS!
Easter Seals BC/Yukon's annual Chip In for the Kids is returning again this year and is celebrating 28 years of chipping Christmas Trees in Greater Victoria, Sooke and Duncan. On January 6th & 7th, 2018 residents can dispose of their Christmas tree in an environmentally friendly manner at one of our 7 locations. Funds raised at this event benefit Easter Seals services and services.
Lions Club members, along with volunteers from Davey Tree Service (Greater Victoria), Western Island Tree Service (Sooke) and Competition Tree Service (Duncan) will be on hand to accept trees in exchange for a donation to Easter Seals.
Our following 7 locations are open from 10am - 4pm on January 6th & 7th:
Broadmead Village Shopping Centre
Save-On-Foods - Fort & Foul Bay location
Tillicum Shopping Centre
University Heights Shopping Centre
Westshore Town Centre
Sooke Home Hardware
BC Forest Discovery Centre (Duncan)
Only live, cut Christmas Trees can be accepted (no artificial or potted trees) and all decoration and tinsel must be removed.
